This has been hailed as an immunity booster in Meghalaya. The Lakadong district in Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, is said to have the best turmeric. The turmeric here is cultivated without the use of pesticides.

Lakadong turmeric has the highest curcumin content in the world. This is a bio-active compound with medicinal properties, giving turmeric its anti-inflammatory and anti-cancerous properties. The curcumin in Lakadong turmeric is said to be between 7-9%, as against 2-3% in other varieties of turmeric.

Ingredients - Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper, Ginger Powder and Cinnamon

Directions to use: Mix half teaspoon (2.3g) in hot milk, simmer for 3 mins and take preferably during bed time.

Storage - Keep away from direct sunlight and humid conditions. Once open store in an airtight container
